The Camp Nou Experience (Barcelona vs. Atletico Madrid)
With perhaps the most entertaining match of the rest of the season this Tuesday at the Camp You, I thought I would share with you my first person account of my Camp You experience when the Blaugrana took on Kun Aguero, Diego Forlan, and the rest of Atletico Madrid about one month ago. If you’ve not yet heard of Pelé Sports, it’s a great new sportswear brand that infuses everything that it designs with the ‘futebol bonito’ spirit of the great man himself. The company philosophy is to focus on footballers’ needs, whether they’re professional players, those who like a kick about with mates down the park, or fashion-conscious fans of the beautiful game – that’s why their range is split into three; Performance, Pelada (‘naked’ in Portuguese) and the Pelé story.It’s a brand based around the pure joy of the game, a philosophy much the same as ours here at AFR. Put in their own words, Pelé Sports’ mantra is “high quality products that tell a story and help Pelé fulfil the goal of giving back to the game he loves”. We were lucky enough to try out some of the products from their ‘Pelada’ range, and we thought they were great.
